Moxa Therapy
(breech position)
Moxa therapy is a traditional technique from Chinese medicine used in cases of breech presentation. By warming a specific acupuncture point (BL67, located at the outer corner of the little toe), blood circulation is stimulated and the nervous system is influenced. This may slightly increase uterine activity and encourage the baby to move more. The goal is not to force anything, but to create optimal conditions for the baby to spontaneously turn into a head-down position. Moxa is usually applied between 34–36 weeks of pregnancy and can offer a natural, non-invasive support in helping the baby turn.
After the treatment, you will receive a moxa stick and an online home guide to continue the treatment at home for the best possible results.
